Background & Needs

The company was preparing for the launch of substrate for new customer. The customer required more difficult product than existing ones, and the best quality control. We participated to the project from the preparation stage for a smooth launch.

Purpose

To build new production system that meets customer’s demand by conducting technology assessment and production management,

Consulting

-Organaized cutomer’s demand in detail
-Conducted risk assessment by Investigating on the company’s manufacturing ability.
-Defined the gaps between their capacity and customer’s demand as risk points.
-Analyzed the importance and difficulty of each risk points.
-Prioritized the improvement tasks and made action plan.
-Instructed PDCA cycle; planning of the improvement action, performing prototype test, reviewing the test result, and considering the next action.
-Improved product quality and production capacity to the level of customer’s demand with PDCA cycle.

Output

Achieved the target yield within the period and it went successfully launched.
